PUBLIC EVENTS SUPPORTED BY High Desert Amateur Radio Group
Check your Calendar and block out a few dates. New Ham? Old Ham (as apposed to age)? We need help every year to support a number of events in the local area. For all HiDARG supported events, if you are not a HiDARG member, you would not be covered under our insurance, so you will need to sign a wavier or become a supporting member of HiDARG.
Since team leaders for each event can change yearly....Please contact a HiDARG board member to find out more info on how you can help. Please note that a number of these events, like Lobos, Bike Races, Running marathons all make donations to our ham organization. Many are important fund raisers for the club, so please help where you can.
NO EXPERIENCE with past EVENTS is required, we can show you the ropes and hook you up with a partner if you wish. Take a look at the 2024 Event Schedule for this year and see what might appeal to you. As an event date draws near we always email info about it and who to contact to sign up.
